Collections Administrator - Industrial Placement
Basic Salary – £23,873
Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 8am- 4pm
Location- Office Based- City Centre Manchester
Fixed term 12 Month Contract. This Industrial Placement opportunity is a paid internship, suitable for a current undergraduate student seeking to take a year in industry as part of their degree course, between years 2 and 3. Start date, June to August 2024.

We’re seeking a Student Administrator to join our Relationship Management Team, assisting the team in supporting our existing customers. You’ll have the opportunity to gain insight into the whole customer cycle within and FCA regulated firm. Your work will support us in ensuring good customer outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handling and allocating incoming customer emails.
  • Handling the incoming post.
  • Issuing correspondence to customers.
  • Generating and issuing early settlement quotes to customers and third parties
  • Preparing documentation to submit to Land Registry in relation to property charges.
  • Electronically storing documents onto our in-house systems.
  • Printing correspondence for issue.
  • Administration tasks relevant to the RM department.
  • Liaising with third parties requesting information.

This role is for you if you have:

  • A desire to gain practical experience in Financial Services as part of your Undergraduate degree studies. You must be a current student seeking a year in industry placement commencing Summer 2024, between years 2 and 3 of your degree, preferably in a business or finance related subject.
  • The Ability to work part of a team and have a continuous learning attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise daily workload.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Good PC skills and some knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Deliver high standard of Administration and maintain relationships with our customers.
